It’s Christmas Time!!!

We cannot believe it is the end of term 2 already! Over the past few says, we have had great fun with our Christmas Disco, Church service and fun day in school. Even Elvis the Elf delivered some presents from Miss Tolland and Mr Paton gifted us all a book each that we can read at home with our families over the Christmas holidays.

Miss Tolland would also like to say a big thank you for all of the kind gifts that she has received over the last week of term. Miss T was just very happy to see that all of Primary 3’s were enjoying the build up to the holidays as much as she was!!

Young Enterprise

P3 were lucky enough to be joined by Lucy from Young Enterprise Scotland for our Inventor Challenge day! P3 learned about some of the most famous inventors ever and were then challenged to reinvent one of these inventions! We had a great day.

Our first Primary 3 Blog!

We have been getting up to lots of exciting things since starting Primary 3 in August. This week is our Big Maths week and we have been busy creating Piet Mondrain inspired pictures, using our mathematics knowledge of squares and rectangles. We had great fun creating these and you can find the pictures below.

It was Kai’s birthday this week in class and as a wee celebration we decided to have a dance to our new favourite song ‘Baby Shark’ and we also sang Happy Birthday to Kai!

Learning Phonics

P2 love highlighting any phonics sounds we read in stories. We enjoy learning phonics on the Chrome Books. We are great at writing sentences using our new sounds. 

World Book Day

Primary 2 had so much fun dressing up in our favourite story book characters. Look at our amazing costumes! Primary 2 read lots of Mog stories and painted beautiful pictures of Mog.
